Electric vehicles

An EV heat pump designed to keep heating in the cold without stopping to defrost.

We're developing an EV heat pump of our own, with an outdoor heat exchanger designed to stay ice-free (patent pending) and one embedded controller designed for the heat pump, cabin and battery, on the same platform as our all-season rooftop unit. We are targeting late summer 2027 for the first vehicle package. If you already have your own thermal system, we fit our controller to it under license.

How it works

Designed to set the whole thermal system together.

In cold weather, an electric vehicle's heat pump can frost its outdoor heat exchanger and have to stop to defrost, or fall back on the electric heater, which draws more from the battery. We designed the heat pump and its controller together so that neither has to happen.
