Founder of AReCoS and inventor of its embedded controller, allowed for a U.S. patent in July 2026, and of its new outdoor heat exchanger, patent pending. Twelve years of control design in the automotive and aerospace industries, now building heat pumps that keep heating through winter.

He leads the heat pump from the refrigerant circuit to the controller.
He leads the work with two technical leads, one in controls and one in physics.

- The all-season heat pump and rooftop unit, from the refrigerant circuit to the CAD geometry of its components.
- Outdoor heat exchanger
- The design and numerical optimization of the patent-pending outdoor heat exchanger, designed to stay ice-free.

- The embedded controller and its control strategies, carried through startup, running, shutdown and changeover.
- Validation program
- AReCoS's technical lead in its validation program with a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory: aligning the work with the program's objectives, tracking milestones and coordinating the collaboration.

His career spans intelligent control algorithms for automotive and aerospace systems, with hands-on prototyping of thermal systems and embedded controllers.
A Design for Six Sigma Black Belt, he has published research on dynamics and optimal control in the AIAA Journal and Aerospace Science and Technology.
